...Even if Cesenatico and the sea are the same thing. it narrate the people of this place and it tell also the ancient and coloured sails of the Floating Museum of Sailors, that greet who ariives and who leave one of the most beautiful ports of Italy, designed by Leonardo da Vinci charge by Cesare Borgia

Not to far from the Canal, you can see the "Conserve", tipical constructions bevel trunk upside down, backed up to XVII. Insert in the ground, they were used to keep safe the gold of our city: the fish. Ending '800, Cesenatico, because of his fervet port activity, had over twenty perfectly in use and functional, today you can see only four. Every evenig, in the homonim place ( Place of Conserve) and the near one, the Erbe Plac, you can visit a tipical in with legums and flowers.

In the little Storic Center of Cesenatico, you can visit also the beautiful Parrocchial Church of San Giacomo an the Natal house of the poet Marino Moretti (1885-199) that in 1980 for wish of the peot, have gived in charity by the sister to the Comune of Cesenatico with the aim to take safe the library and the archive of the writer.

Cesenatico and surroundings

Over the beach side of Romagna, back side of Cesenatico, it opens a natural tresure to get known. Going by the coast to the hills, you can see a gorgeous and stimolant scenery. The Valmarecchia and The Valle di Rubicone carcterized by sweet hills and gentle slopes. This valley is full of paths, ancient trails for the nnature lovers to foud fortresses, castles and monastery in a land full of history and traditions.

During our hollydays on the sea side it should be a very interesting way to fill your time dadicating few hours to a more detailed discovery of the fantastic territory that surrounds Cesenatico: starting by Santarcangelo to Torriana and to Montebello, By Verucchio to San Leo, but also round about Savignano sul Rubicone and Borghi, Longiano and Roncofreddo or even Sogliano. All this little small villages hides art tresures, culture, history and good food.

Here in Cesenatico there are also some events and partys like Notte Rosa, that involve all the Romagna coast. In July u can enjoy the see of the fireworks by the top of our Hotel and then delight on the near beach till morning.
